Ferry Trip

Weather was in our favour, alhamdulillah.

Yarra River packed with tourists and locals, elated faces of "it's summer (read: summah)!"

I was mesmerised, MashaAllah, when the river met the sea.

Sea scents while birds fly free.

"It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed." (Al Furqan:53)

Soon as we arrived,

the scene of esplanade revived

book and solitary, while wind breezes quietly

what's not to dream of, what's left not to love

walks and talks, simple undervalued moments

precious and deep soul endowments

Very Berry

food that are summer-y

we ate with such view,

while waiting for the return queue

but alas, time flew

it was due to get through

Rike, my tan addict bule from Germany,

thanks for being my travel buddy!
